React Right is SSI's emergency training program, consisting of the following basic components: Primary Assessment, First Aid & CPR Skills, Primary Stabilization Techniques, and includes two optional components: Oxygen Administration in Diving Emergencies and Automated External Defibrillation Basics. This will provide you with the training and confidence needed to act as a first responder in a medical emergency. Students who complete this program earn the SSI React Right specialty certification.

Prerequisites for React Right Course

  • Minimum age is 15

  • All persons under the age of 18 require parent/guardian signature for participation. 

  • Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied with a parent/guardian over the age of 18. 

Course Includes

  • Online course only, 6 academic sessions to be completed with 6 months of sign up.

  • This is a one-day course (approx. 8hrs) 

Exclusions

  • No open water dives are included.
